Can you believe it?

It’s September of 2021, and there’s a mass exodus taking place from Twitch. In a sudden sweep, some of the platforms biggest creators are leaving and moving their content over to YouTube.

Now, we’re left with a bit of a gap, as there are many Twitch creators left asking the question, “How do I stream on YouTube?”

After all, it’s an entirely different platform — but you’d be suprised how seamless the transtion can be. It’s one of leading reasons why many streamers are getting started on YouTube today.

If you’re wondering how to start streaming…

As the old adage goes, the journey of a thousand miles starts with a single step. That’s true in any pursuit, whether you’re studying to become an engineer, or walking into the kitchen to compile a world-class ham and cheese sandwich.

It all starts with a single step.

When it comes to money — or more particularly, making money — that single step is often a rather small one. It can be disheartening at first, especially if you’re starting off as a truly independent trader, but remember — that small step for man was a giant leap for mankind.

I…

Last year, I published an article explaining why people who wanted to become a streamer probably never would. It highlighted the severe over-saturation of the industry, and pointed out that the competition included several million people all trying to do the exact same thing.

While that hasn’t changed, I feel it was unfair for me to slam the aspiration without offering any assistance. After all, I was a streamer myself once upon a time, and I still do it on a casual basis. …

Eric Harris and Dylan Klebold midway through their siege of Columbine

April 20th, 1999 started off as a perfectly regular day in Littleton, Colorado. It was a fresh, spring morning, and the world was already wide awake. The students at Columbine High School were eagerly preparing for the summer vacation that was mere weeks away. The air was thick with apprehension over college applications, and excitement for the summertime events that would soon be taking place.

Within a few hours of that morning commencing, the air would be thick with something else entirely.

Hot smoke, the unmistakeable tang of iron, and a fog of terror.

Between 11:19am and 12:08pm, senior students…

Yes, I am a nerd.

I’ve always loved zombie stuff, from the Resident Evil franchise to the Walking Dead TV show, and from Dawn of the Dead to 28 Days Later. If there’s a video game that’s set within a zombie apocalypse, I’ll almost certainly fall in love with it.

It might be a ridiculous thing to suggest, but I fully believe that there’s a potential for a ‘zombie apocalypse’ to occur one day. While that might not necessarily be an overwhelming uprising of undead shamblers, it could resemble something from our favourite pop culture sources.

Oh boy, is this…

I first heard this speech several years ago, mixed in as part of a motivational compilation on YouTube. It immediately resonated with me and struck me as being extremely progressive, accurate, and relevant — even today. It’s a timeless speech that came from the most unlikely of sources, at a time when people needed to hear the words the most.

In 1940, Charlie Chaplin starred in a movie called The Great Dictator, and it was considered his first real ‘sound film’. …

I’ve always loved writing prompts — they’re so effective at getting a creative mind working again when it feels sluggish and unproductive.

In the space of just a few words, you can get those cognitive gears whirring, and before you know it, you’ll have a few paragraphs on the page. When you’re handed an idea, it suddenly becomes much easier for the words to flow from your mind to the page. Even if you’re using the prompt as a foundation to create something completely different, what you write unequivocally starts with that single line of suggestive text.

With that in…

At the end of January, I published an article explaining how I made my first $10,000 on Upwork.

Here we are a few weeks later, and I’ve just ticked over $16,000 — not a traditional milestone, but it’s a great opportunity to once again explain how I’m doing it. There are more freelancers out there in the world right now than ever before, and that number is growing exponentially. It costs nothing to give a little helping hand to your fellow hardworking individual, so here I am.

I got started on Upwork in 2017, and it was a very slow…

If you’re trying to understand the importance of TikTok in the ever-changing Universe of social media, look no further than this example.

On the 18th January 2021, a charming New Zealander took to TikTok, hat on head and bevvies in hand, to make his first video. Within seconds, he’d shocked viewers by downing a sizeable glass in a single gulp, before moving on to vortex a bottle in mere moments.

It was a real blink-and-you’ll-miss-it talent that was an instant hit on the platform, which is chiefly driven by entertaining viral content. The video performed quite well, and within a…

Do you believe that every human on this planet is born with an inherent desire to succeed?

I do, but I fully understand and appreciate that not everybody knows they want to succeed. I also believe that everyone has the innate ability to succeed, and how they approach life on a daily basis impacts that ability greatly. If you nurture that ability, you’re much more likely to achieve greater things earlier on, but it’s never too late, or too far away.

When you’re introduced to this world, you walk in hand-in-hand with the Clean Slate Protocol.

Yes, that’s taken from…
